I am a solo-acoustic singer-songwriter. I was born, raised and currently reside in Nashville, GA. In June 2022, I walked away from my career as an attorney to pursue my dream of being a performing singer-songwriter after signing a publishing deal with Century Music Group in Nashville, TN. Since that time, I have started gigging and recorded my first EP, Nashville to Nashville, last December. Nashville to Nashville is currently undergoing final mastering and is set to be released this summer.
My music is influenced by artists in many genres, most notably country, Americana, and Southern Rock. My biggest influences as a songwriter are Jason Isbell, Morgan Wade, Zach Bryan, Eric Church, Drive-By Truckers, and Chris Stapleton. Their ability to tell emotional stories that connect everyone listening to their songs is what I admire most about these artists and what I try to emulate in my own shows. My time as an attorney helped me understand how to tell a story in a way that different people from different walks of life can all relate to. Feeling connected with my fans when I perform is what makes this journey worth it.
As a performer, I am constantly revamping and tailoring my set lists to the specific crowds I have at my gigs. My goal is to get them to want to hear more music once my time is up - which is usually what happens. Most shows continue for up to an additional hour after their scheduled end (with venue approval).
I also view myself as a partner with the venues I play at. I believe in the importance of promoting my events so that my fans know when and where they can find me so that my performances are as successful for the venues as they can be.
